All Saints' Day - in memory of our loved ones
All Saints' Day- in memory of our loved ones
Our best tips for how you can mark All Saints' Day with flowers.
We mark All Saints' Day on the first Sunday in November. Originally it was a commemoration for saints and martyrs, but in The Norwegian Church we remember those who have passed away - those we miss. This is the day to light candles and decorate the grave with bouquets, wreaths or a beautiful flower heart.

How you choose to decorate the grave site is of course a matter of taste. At this time of year we think it's nice to play on the classic winter palette; green and white with hints of red and orange. We let heather, fir bar, snowberry, rosehip twigs and eucalyptus be the supporting elements and combine with candles.
